Senior Robotics Presentation and Workshop
Saturday, March 8, 2025
11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Davis Library, Lower Level Meeting Room
6400 Democracy Boulevard, Bethesda
Our first Senior Robotics workshop, held last year, was a great success, so we thought we should offer it again with an updated presentation and a new set of robotics for participants to put together.
The Teen Difference organization has provided guidance to our seniors at Teen Tech Assist Clinics held bi-monthly at the Davis Library for the past several years. For the workshop, the group will share with us a video presentation on the state of robotic science and then assist participants in designing and developing their own simple robotic projects.
Seniors + Teens + Robots = What Fun!
This event is expected to be both illuminating and fun. Participants will explore technical innovation while interacting with teenagers interested in building a bridge to the senior population.
The session is limited to 15 NBV participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
